Pauses and Reunions, @vanres74 436e21aug24; 

I lose myself

revisiting several times

a sonnet by the grandfather of a old friend

how many times

I felt myself in the stream

almost drowned 

by similar 

feeling

in a dialogue with another friend

on this torrid winter afternoon

i realized afright

the bitterness

entangled

in everyday 

and repeated frustrations

immersing myself

in a quite intense

ostracism

I still

manage,

occasionally

to overcome the bitterness

this 

dawn

the moon 

was approaching 

from the west

and sunlight 

was coming 

from east

a believer's dream,

yesterday 

was quite so frequent 

today have become so rare

and

I pause

the writing

as to reread the sonnet

and I enjoy 

the losing 

of myself

a little bit

more
