exhausted

stop at the bus-stop
feel the palms of feet burning

roll ankle
stretch calf
massage knees

align the back, 
cracks

stretch neck
smooth down compression stocking

a scaring motorcycle courier 
abruptly crosses
the sidewalk

stop and charge
the newsstand attendant

resume
recklessly typing

about
the effects
of such a beautiful
wandering day
