esgotados às 8h da manhã

no início do 9° dia de férias

faltam 10 dias para novos créditos

google fotos devorou meus créditos

fazendo upload automático

das centenas de fotos

de visitas em série

passo

inicialmente

a gastar tempo

a pensar em "como

sobreviver sem reconectar-me"?

reconexão

não com a cidade

ou com paisagens

ou com as pessoas

tantos

de pé nas lojas

andando pelas calçadas

parados nos semáforos

sentados nos bancos dos ônibus

com a cabeça inclinada

com os olhos vidrados

sigo com destino programado:

cidade universitária

sinto-me

inicialmente

perdido sem google maps

parece que me esqueci

de como se utilizam

os ouvidos

e a boca

os olhos vagam livres sem focar

durante a decida da augusta

que se torna colômbia

e cidade jardim

teatro

cinema

igreja

museu

empório

concessionárias

estação de metrô

rio pinheiros

jóquei clube

são 9 horas

na travessia do pinheiros

as margens estão imundas

mas não sinto o cheiro putrefato

a que me "acostumara" décadas atrás

em antigo percurso cotidiano para universidade

sinto

o tempo

multiplicar-se

aparentemente

fluindo bem mais

lentamente

procuro por uma palavra

para descrever

tal liberdade

mobile data usage @vanres74 10e12jan24

monthly
mobile data
exhausted at 8am
on 9th vacation day

10 days left for new credits

google photos devoured credits
automatically uploading
hundreds of photos
from serial visits

start
wasting time
thinking about
"how to survive
without connecting"?

reconnection
not with the city
or landscapes
or people

so many
stopped at traffic lights
walking on sidewalks
standing up in stores
sitting on bus seats

most
with heads tilted
eyes glazing

without connections
continue with planned destination

feel
initially
lost without Google Maps

it seems have forgotten
how to use
the ears
the mouth

but the eyes
wander freely
without focusing

goes down
Augusta street
until it becomes Colombia avenue
at Garden City

theater
cinema
church
museum
emporium
car dealerships
new subway station

it's 9 o'clock
as the bus cross Pines River
can't feel anymore
putrid smell
to which
had became
"accustomed"
decades ago
doing regularly
this river crossing

oh!
old days

feel
time
multiplying
apparently
flowing slower

get
cellphone
to look for a word
to describe such a feeling

but
it is yet
disconnected

I want to experience
the coming pleasure
without guilt
for hitting
the road

A decision:
Will no longer say
I don't like
and don't want to drive
in the city
much less on highways

A project:
to drive 2,432 km
from Queluz de Minas to Xingu in Pará
alone in the road
via Araxá Uberaba Goiás Velho Brasília Palmas Marabá Xinguara São Félix do Xingu

or about 2,500 km
via Lagoa Santa Brasília Cocalzinho de Goiás
Lagoa da Confusão Redenção Xinguara
São Félix do Xingu

Around seven days,
350 km/day
on average

However
perhaps
it would be more interesting
experiencing a crisis of incoherence
traveling such a long distance
feeling in conflict
with subjectivity

so long
and arduously constructed

quero
vivenciar
prazer vindouro
sem culpa pegar estrada

uma decisão:
não vou mais dizer
não gostar e não querer
dirigir em cidade
muito menos
em estradas

um projeto:
rodar 2432 km
de Queluz de Minas ao Xingu no Pará
solitariamente via Araxá Uberaba Goiás Velho Brasília Palmas Marabá Xinguara São Félix do Xingu
ou uns 2500 km
via Lagoa Santa Cocalzinho de Goiás Lagoa da Confusão Redenção São Félix do Xingu
Em torno de sete dias,
350 km/dia em média

Contudo,
talvez, seja
mais interessante
vivenciar crise de incoerência
viajar tão longa distância
sentindo-me em conflito
com subjetividade
tão longa
e árdua
mente
construída

08p09jan24- heading to the museum, @vanres1974 [09jan24 10:39]; {22dec2024 sun 16:15} (09jan24)

https://vanres1974.blogspot.com/2024/12/08p09jan24.html

09jan24
09:30
beginning
the longest journey
heading to an art museum
under the soundtrack
of W. Amadeus Mozart
composed of larghettos
adagios and andantes

300 seconds
and 500,000 millimeters
from the travelers' lodging

towards
a 600 years's selection
of visual arts history

mainly
Western European
with a few brazilian touches

in the permanent exhibition
museum's transformation
but that's for next week

let's start this voyage
from the bottom up
in the 2nd basement

to visit the grand "Indigenous Stories"
or perhaps it would be even "less bad"
to name it excerpts from indigenous arts

there are several exhibitions in one:

PACHAKUTI: THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN, curated by Sandra Gamarra, Quechuas [currently Peru]
BREAKING REPRESENTATION, curated by Nigel Borell, Maoris [currently New Zealand]
TIME IS NOT TIME, Borges Karaja Renata Tupusamba - Indigenous people from different nations currently Brazil]
VÁRVES: HIDDEN FROM THE DAY, curated by Inerte Snerby Susanne Hætta - Sami [currently Norway]

Already on the 1st basement floor
WOVEN SKINS,
a solo show by Melissa Coy and Navajo weaving [currently United States]
The exhibitions,
as stated in the description
in "Quadro Ferido", from 1994,
by Adriana Varejão,
intend to provoke
"sharp crossings
in the plane of cultures;"
in a de-Westernizing tour-de-force".

I go down to the 1st floor
